Pat Postek’s children’s book, Bandit, The Chubby Chihuahua, won three awards in three separate categories (Illustrations, Children’s Story Book, and Ebooks) at the annual Colorado Independent Publishers Association (CIPA) EVVY Book Awards banquet dinner held on August 23, 2014. Pat Postek’s picture book, BANDIT, THE CHUBBY CHIHUAHUA, received a finalist award in the Children’s Book category from the Colorado Authors’ League at their annual awards banquet held on May 8, 2014. CAL is the state’s oldest professional writers’ organization, established in 1931 “to foster the art and craft of authorship.”
There are only six shopping days left until Christmas, and I still haven’t gotten gifts for my good friends, Lily, Cinco, Frasier, Fred and Bentley. Christmas shopping should be easier this year, because I created a gift list.
